GOOD COMMUNICATION means GOOD BUSINESS

What is a mentor?

A mentor is someone who has been down the same path you're taking. He or she is experienced, successful and willing to provide advice and guidance.

C-Level executives of direct marketing and transactional communication companies are often left making critical strategic and execution decisions on their own, due to their limited resources.  Many of these executives do not have senior management that feels comfortable either disagreeing with, or taking a contradictory position to, the executive.

Do you feel like you stand alone?

Although most good C-Level executives will absorb as much pertinent data as possible, many times this just is not sufficient to make solid enough decisions.  In today’s environment of ever changing technology, demanding customers, aggressive competition, shrinking margins, complex regulations and limited capital, input from a seasoned industry executive would add an invaluable perspective to this decision making process.

However, most small to mid-size companies may find a full-time executive too expensive or difficult to attract without competitive compensation packages.  Commogma’s mentoring program provides affordable access to this type of resource.

In connection with the above and many other areas that we can help, our Business Advisory Program can be leveraged for strategic planning, development of critical analyses, team building and education, mentoring, coaching or just playing “devil’s advocate” for critical decisions.

As we are as interested in your Return on Investment as you are, we believe in the following…fair pricing, extreme value.

Business Development
Business development is the creation of long-term value for an organization from customers, markets, and relationships.  Although pure tactical sales is a subset of this simply because of the tactics business development employs to achieve those goals, business development embraces a more holistic approach to building your business.  We are true believers that an organization needs to understand their own value proposition before developing a business development strategy.  We help you either uncover, redefine or sharpen your value proposition.....in other words, why should a customer do business with you rather than your competitor.  Commogma can help you develop appropriate business development strategies based on your size, capabilities and platform including customer acquisition, scalable selling channels, new product, and pricing strategies.

Organizational Effectiveness
Your company’s most important asset is its people. Many companies say this but few truly follow through with real people-focused strategies that connect people, process, and technology to the mission of the organization.  Commogma can help you connect the dots by evaluating and improving your company culture, onboarding and training, organizational design, talent acquisition and employee retention.

Organization Structure
Asset optimization and how your company utilizes its people can be extremely important to the future and growth of your organization. Commogma can help brainstorm on not only how to optimize your organizational structure and get the “right people in the right seats on the bus” but also how to ensure your associates feel challenged and valued.

Technology Transformation
Technology transformation is really about helping to make your key processes better, faster, cheaper and easier. Your business evolves and so do your technology requirements, but you can’t afford to change it all at once. Commogma can help you understand how to maximize your existing technology investments to get more (without necessarily spending more). Once you’ve optimized your current state, we can work with you to plan your future state architecture, prioritize investment options and align your technology portfolio to positively impact your business.

Scaling Operations
Growing from one-to-many involves delegation, training, change management, quality control and many other factors to ensure that your business operations scale appropriately. Commogma can help you find a “best fit” balance of process, systems and personnel to ensure your growing business operates at optimal efficiencies while preserving the quality of your product and customer experience.

ROI and Other Financial Implications
With our finance background, Commogma understands that every decision ultimately impacts the bottom line, either directly or indirectly.  As such, we always incorporate this understanding into all of our decisions.

Commogma’s Business Mentoring Program is a customizable program where seasoned industry executive experience can become a part of your organization’s strategic planning and decision-making.

An experienced sounding board can help simplify even the most complex decisions.

Some of the key areas where Commogma’s experience could be leveraged include:

A mentor can be a game changer for small business.

Research proves that small businesses that receive three or more hours of mentoring each month achieve higher revenues and increased business growth.

Even better, according to a 2014 survey by The UPS Store, 70 percent of small businesses that receive mentoring survive more than five years – double the survival rate of non-mentored businesses.

Small businesses agree. The same survey found that 88 percent of business owners with a mentor say that having one is invaluable. -
