Mr. Horowitz founded Commogma in January 2014 and has primary responsibility for all engagements.  Ed possesses a wealth of experience and first achieved industry success with the Direct Group.  He started at Direct Group in 1996 as Chief Financial Officer and held various senior level positions including Chief Operating Officer.  Ed was an integral part of the team that built Direct Group from $2.0 million in revenue in 1996 to over $60 million in net revenue in 2006 before successfully selling the company. 

More recently, Ed honed his skills in the transactional communications and payment space when he served as Chief Operating Officer of PSC Info Group from 2007 through 2012.   He was responsible for all operational aspects of PSC Info Group including financial and sales related activity.  During his tenure at PSC Info Group, Ed helped prepare the company for expedited growth through workflow reengineering, equipment optimization and developing an innovative and forward thinking management team.  He introduced and implemented full color, on demand, printing which brought the company closer to his white paper factory vision as well as creating a unique, non-traditional sorting process that changed the economics of the business.  These changes proved successful as volume and EBTIDA margin more than doubled.

Additionally, Ed is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and was a senior supervisor the Price Waterhouse accounting firm before joining Direct Group.  Ed played professional baseball in the Baltimore Orioles and San Diego Padres organizations from 1989 – 1993, and was an NCAA Academic All-American.  He is also a two-time Ironman triathlon finisher.  Ed graduated from Rider College where he majored in accounting and business administration.
